Orton- Gillingham Approach to Fluency Drills

I know it sounds horrible… Fluency Drills are actually a lot more fun than you think if you can make a game out of it. The kids like trying to read the words as fast as they can BUT… I never force them to read fast. For those kids who are anxious, just reading the words as fast as they want to is just fine:) It’s really about accuracy and not speed.
