Pride Learning Center provides tutoring in reading and writing using multisensory methods based on Orton-Gillingham research. Each student works one-on-one with a certified Pride teacher, using listening, seeing, touch, and movement to enhance learning skills. We also utilize the latest advances in computer based reading technology to enhance learned concepts through a familiar multi-media interface. Every child at Pride becomes an independent and confident reader!

Zanine Szatan – Educational Coordinator

Zanine Szatan holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Pepperdine University and Bachelor’s Degree in Music from California State University, Long Beach. Zanine has earned a California Teaching Credential and prior to joining Pride was a first and second grade teacher. She also enjoys teaching music and has co-authored children’s books.
